Elena Favela Naca, M.A., PhD
Yoga Wellness Coach
Yoga integrates the body, breath, and mind to achieve and maintain a greater sense of balance. As an instructor with over ten years of experience, I’ve observed how a regular yoga asana practice helps people gain greater mental clarity and self-awareness, alleviate stress and pain, and strengthen and balance the body and mind. I earned a master’s degree in Counseling, and a doctorate in Educational Leadership, and have developed curricula and taught yoga and mindfulness for clients in various therapeutic and school settings. These experiences provide the foundation to work with beginner to intermediate yoga students seeking treatment for depression, anxiety, trauma, OCD, issues with confidence and self-doubt, as well as other challenges to mental, emotional and physical wellbeing. As part of the Stay Young team, my goal is to help people heal by developing asana sequences tailored to each client’s needs in a fun, safe environment.
